Charity Christmas Social Thursday 3 December 2009

The Charity Social at the end of last year, raised in total £520.00.
 
£370 of this money was donated to charities (WellBeing and Eve Appeal - ovarian cancer charities) which were taking part in the BIG GIVE, which meant that it was doubled up (so in total £890.00 was donated between the four charities listed).

A very big thank you to all who helped sell raffle tickets, those who bought raffle tickets and those attending the event, and all those who took part to make the event the success it was you know who you all are! Supported charities:

• Cancer Research
• Wellbeing of Women (WOW),
• The Eve Appeal
• The Fylde Hospice

Xmas Nibbles and Fantastic Music – A great night out for all!

7 pm - 8 pm Salsa Classes ALL LEVELS (On1 & On2)- beginners welcome!

8.15 - 9 pm CHA CHA Class

9 pm - 11 pm Social dancing

£10 (inc. 1 class) / £15 (inc. 2 classes) / £5 after 9 pm

Charity raffle to be drawn at event in aid of WellBeing of Women (WOW)

1st Prize: Thames River Cruise and Lunch for 2

2nd Prize: Jongleurs Comedy night out for 2

3rd Prize: Spa Day at Marriott Hotel for 2

4th Prize: Bottle of MUMM champagne

5th Prize: 2 Cinema tickets (donated by ODEON)

ALL the proceeds of the evening will be going to the above mentioned charities
